A professora explica que grande parte dos vírus causadores de doenças respiratórias se replicam mais rapidamente em temperaturas baixas.
O ar seco também ajuda na circulação do vírus. Basicamente, ele faz com que gotículas respiratórias se evaporem mais rápido, permitindo que as partículas de uma tosse, por exemplo, se espalhem com mais facilidade.
Além disso, o ar gelado pode afetar a resposta imunológica no trato respiratório e facilitar a instalação de um vírus.
Outro fator que precisa ser considerado é que, no inverno, as pessoas recebem menos luz solar e, consequentemente, menos vitamina D , que é importante para o sistema imunológico.
O contato mais próximo com outras pessoas em ambientes fechados também contribui para os maiores índices de gripe.
Em resumo, a junção de todos esses fatores é o que faz com que adoecemos mais no inverno.

Além disso, procure praticar atividade física regularmente e dormir o suficiente . Limpe com frequência as superfícies duras e de alto contato da sua casa. Se seu nariz ou garganta ficarem secos no inverno, considere usar um umidificado r. E, o mais importante, tome sua vacina anual contra gripe e COVID-19.
